New Public Gigs in Knutsford for Popular Cheshire Wedding Band Groovy Revolution
Knutsford has long been something of a spiritual home for Groovy Rev. The people of this historic Cheshire town have always been incredibly welcoming to us, and it's fair to say we've built up a small following over the years.
Our drummer G-Man has even been overheard using the chat-up line: "I'm a bit of a local celebrity". Cringe!
It's also a great place for the humble Cheshire wedding band to drum up business.
With the closing down of the much-missed Knutsford Wine Bar, King Street revellers were reduced to catching a glimpse of us through the window of stunning wedding venue The Belle Epoque (www.thebelleepoque.co.uk), but no longer.
Step forward Jack Rabbit's and The Rose 'n' Crown!
Jack Rabbit's (www.jackrabbitsknutsford.com) is an American diner located at 94 King Street, WA16 6ED. We've already played there a couple of times to raucous crowds with our old singer Kelvis, and new vocalist JD is looking forward to more of the same.
You can catch us there on September 2nd, October 14th, and November 11th.
The Rose 'n' Crown (www.roseandcrownknutsford.net) is a chophouse and hotel in a grade two listed building located at 62 King Street, WA16 6DT. We're yet to play there, but we're extremely excited about it as Thursdays in Knutsford took on an almost legendary status for us in years gone by.
We'll be peddling our cheese there on September 22nd and December 8th.
Whether you're a resident Knutsfordian, or just visiting, we really hope you can make one of the above dates. If you're an existing Groovy Rev fan, or a future bride/groom looking for a wedding band, it'd be great to have you there. See you soon!
